While I would normally agree with this, like Tittle 9 and such. One needs look only the FBI:
New: “Penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”
So, with this new definition of an old law, the only way it is possible for a woman to be guilty of rape is if she uses her fingers, toes, or an "object" to penetrate a man's rectum. By forcing him to have normal vaginal sexual intercourse, though either threat of physical, financial, or social means, she is NOT legally committing the crime of rape.

The only reason that the FBI held this as being more 'gender neutral' than the previous definition was because by the old definition, a man was not capable of being raped. That includes even if she tied him down and used a strap-on on a guy.

Old: “The carnal knowledge of a female forcibly and against her will.”
For the most part though, yes you are right. It is not in the wording of laws that makes them sexist, but in how those laws are enforced.

How about if they want to play that "affirmative consent" law crap, they make it EQUAL, and make it apply to women too! That way when daddy gets home from working his ass off all day and says "sweetie, I'm really tired" and she humps him in his sleep anyways, she is LEGALLY violating his right to have affirmative consent.

But, you know what? In an atmosphere of such severe corruption that even NOT having affirmative consent results in a lot of men getting put in severe danger and exploited due to false accusations, maybe it's better to officially pass an "affirmative consent" law so that EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON.

How about some equality for you? Maybe officially passing affirmative consent is nothing more than making official what the government has been doing anyway QUIETLY. Not that I'm saying an "affirmative consent" law is good. But those pushing for it at least are helping to cause a lot of people to wake up who had their heads in the sand.
