Kudos to the Canadian RCMP for stopping a possible attack (bombing)! Good work boys. Your next double-double is on me...

Well there's the proof: Islam attracts whackos whether they be white, black, or anywhere in between.
    Stay single and prosper!

      Nah, you're just a poly-racist.

Of the attacks in Canada so far, most of the perps were home-grown. There was a knife attack in Toronto a couple of months ago that was the exception.

This guy yesterday detonated one IED but the cops shot him before he could set off a second one. Apparently he was already known to the police as a radical from his previous activity. The RCMP say there will more details in a media release later today...

CBC Radio Canada announced today that it was the AMERICAN AUTHORITIES who gave the Canadians the initial heads-up as to what this nut-bar was up to. Canada owes a big thanks to the Yanks! It seems that you guys have got our backs when our own government drops the ball!

Sincerely, many thanks. It's most appreciated...

"I started reading the Bible … because, you know, I had a lot of responsibility coming my way very soon," Driver told CBC in 2015, adding it's also what drove him to Islam.

"I just decided it couldn't possibly be the word of God, so I started watching debates to find some answers. A lot of debates between Christians and atheists and Christians and Muslims, and the Muslims were always destroying them in these debates."
"Some things made me want to throw up," the father said. "People beheaded — he's commenting on them like it's some big joke, and he's applauding their actions. There was a picture of Christian kids being assassinated, and he said they deserved it."
Driver told CBC News that while he was in custody, he was interrogated by police about his social media activities.

Eight days later, he was released on numerous bail conditions requiring him to undergo religious counselling,

I dunno. The kid seemed to be pretty fucked-up. The reports in the media kinda gives me the impression that maybe this guy's actions, behaviour and attitudes might have somehow been in part influenced by religion...

(It also turns out that the father was a christian lay-pastor who was struggling with why his son turned to Islam. When you add to this that the nutter was ANGRY AT GOD it makes it very difficult for me to see how this isn't tied to religion.)

In retrospect, he believes Aaron “had a hate on for Christians” and that his son was rebelling because he was “still angry God took his mother.”
