and only one short step from 'affirmative consent' to illegal dissent

he didnt say 'no' enough ... so Your Honour, clearly that means I have a claim of his resources past, present and future.

seems 'community' now is meant to be directly involved in your sex life.

you better do it the mandated way ... or else

      Yup, it's insane.

I'm starting to think that these radical feminists (not all feminists are this radical) ...have no clue what good sex is...because NO ONE has sex like this. lol

That's an interesting article, good points - but it's off on the movie, ''Fireproof.'' I've seen that movie, and while it's a bit over the top in some regards, it's not about a husband trying to keep his wife happy, when she's ''contentious''. That's not at all the message, there. It's about how to be an example of selflessness, and what happens in that movie, is that the wife eventually wants to be just like her husband. He showed true leadership, leading by example. (It's a Christian based movie, so...take it for what it's worth lol)

I'm pretty sure that at this point the only way to avoid committing 'rape' in the eyes of SJWs is to order the woman to shout 'yes I want this cock' before each thrust and film the entire encounter for posterity, uploading it to the cloud to be on the safe side.

But then of course in so doing you end up guilty of -

                1. Giving an order to a woman
                2. Filming a sexual encounter without consent
                3. Creating potential revenge porn
                4. Generally being a creepy fuck

                Etc.etc...

                  OMG, that's so funny!

In all seriousness, why are all these laws positioned to only favor women? As if there are no women out there who hit on men, or pursue men for sex. So suppose, a woman initiates and the guy says no, and then she keeps forcing the issue, and then he keeps saying no...and then, he eventually gives in, but it's not an ''affirmative yes.'' Do men deserve less respect when it comes to this law, than women?

I'd encourage you to read more of Dalrock's Blog.

Fireproof, if taken in isolation is a movie about faith making things "right" in the world. It's interesting that you think the lesson is about "true leadership". The message is about submission not leadership. The "twist" at the end where you find out Caleb's mother wrote the original book is the Kendrick Brothers presenting the idea that submission is gender-neutral despite nowhere in the Bible suggesting then men should submit to their wives. (not to mention she only really has a change of heart after he completely gives up his dreams and dedicates ALL of his money to her desires).

But Dalrock isn't looking at it as an isolated film. The undercurrent of the Kendrick Brothers' films is always that men need God to "fix" them into being what their women want. Because women's desires magically and innately are Godly. A notion that we needn't read beyond Genesis 3 to disprove.

This reflects a really worrisome trend in Christianity as whole to label women as innately virtuous and men as innately sinful. We are all sinful, but churches don't condemn women's sins. Women in the church are in open rebellion against the teaching's of Jesus and the leadership in those churches isn't just ignoring it, they're actively shifting the blame onto men. (in fact when challenged to list sins that tempt women, most can't do it.....see the self esteem link below)

Cheating on your husband? Well, he must not be Godly enough?
Riding the cock carousel in your 20s? That's not your choice, it's sinful men making you fornicate.
Wife unhappy in a marriage? Well, he must not be "leading" well enough.

Here are two good ones to start on:

I think Christians in general love these movies because they try to show that living a life of faith and prayer will bring you better Earthly Rewards. (never promised in the Bible). But I fear many remain blind to how deeply feminism has invaded the culture, and how deeply that same culture has invaded the way Church Leadership thinks and behaves.

Meh... there are so many laws to break these days... odds are you break half a dozen of them daily. The entire point is to make it so everyone is guilty of something, its just a matter of keeping certain people 'pleased' so they don't turn you in.

Its just more ways to control the tax cattle (men). Women are already bought and paid for.. they depend on the state as so many women have turned into unmarriable harpies.

God bestowed upon men a great responsibility, this is true. But marriage according to the Bible is a two way street, you are cherry picking or distorting Scripture to suit perhaps your own views of marriage? Not sure but the Bible doesn't tell men that their marriages are their sole responsibility, men and women have different roles. And I think that Fireproof was about how we all should be selfless like Jesus (as Christians), it just was told from the angle of the husband changing himself by following Jesus. His selflessness was about following Jesus not about saving his marriage. Once he realized that following Jesus would bring him what he was lacking in his life, that light shone on his marriage. People see what they want to see but Kirk Cameron who is a super fundie wouldn't have starred in a movie that suggested earthly rewards are why believers follow Jesus. I didn't love the movie but don't think his depiction of it is accurate. (or yours tbh)

Going back to your point about how women are viewed in Christian churches or there is a suggestion that we are viewed as virtuous, is something I haven't seen. If anything, women are supposed to emulate Mary (a virgin) and there isn't much talk of that in the Bible as it relates to men, except that the reader gets the sense that Joseph, Mary's betrothed, is not pursuing other women and not sleeping with Mary. Not sure if there were biological children after Jesus, but up until then, that was the ''story.'' But, the Bible is not a handbook to give women a pass to sin, and men are held to a different standard. Believers are all held to the same standard. The story of the ''woman at the well'' is a good example of how Jesus spoke to women in sin, and convicted her of it, and basically...she changed there and then, because of her encounter with Jesus. He didn't give her a pass for her sin. So, sure there are churches who preach a watered down secular version of the Bible, but the Bible doesn't promote feminism nor does it suggest that women get a pass for sin, and men don't.
