eligible women for marriage would show the steepest decline
looks like mgtow is growing anyway........the silent revolution

I know a girl who wanted a baby on her own. good gov job 80,000 a year, she got a house. between baby bonus and qualifying for free daycare, she figures the baby only cost her $100/mth.......I suppose a guy only has rent-a-womb expenses on top, if he decides the same.

men are literally signing there life away, for sex, and for an outdated fantasy of, an equal partner lasting marrage. marrage should zoom to zero, as guys start to accept reality.

Meanwhile, a whopping 64% of respondents were single in 2014 and had never married. That number was even higher for men (68%) than for women (60%)
    .
    .
    .
A recent Pew report showed that the number of Americans over the age of 25 who have never been married is currently at its highest, as well. So, if you're single right now, you're definitely not alone.

It's important to remember that for most women eligible isn't the same as single. Eligible means that he checks the boxes on her list. Those boxes might or might not include being single. For a man who checks enough boxes his being married might not only be negotiable, it might actually be a benefit. If she's able to wrestle a man away from another woman, then she gets a pre-vetted guy and the ego boost of knowing she's "better" than the other woman.

For average looking guys with average careers they don't even show up as eligible. In fact, the more they've been rejected, the longer they've been single, the less likely she is to see him as "eligible". He's been rejected how many time? What must those women have known that she's not seeing? He's been single how long? What must be wrong with him? Those men don't even show up as men until and unless she adjusts the picture of what she "deserves" to something that's more grounded in reality.

I'd say if 68% of men in a given group are single probably less than 10% of that 68% are considered "eligible" by the majority of women in the same group.

Not so. Marriage rates dropped so low all the states stopped distributing the numbers around 2011. Last year, once the numbers jumped slightly die to same-sex marriage, they started distributing them again.

    Number of Marriages per 1,000
    Unmarried Women Age 15 and
    Older, by Year, United States:

    1922 99 (found on Web)
    1960 73.5
    1961 72.2
    1962 71.2
    1963 73.4
    1964 74.6
    1965 75.0
    1966 75.6
    1967 76.4
    1968 79.1
    1969 80.0
    1970 76.5
    1972 77.9
    1975 66.9
    1977 63.6
    1980 61.4
    1983 59.9
    1985 56.2
    1987 55.7
    1990 54.5
    1991 54.2
    1992 53.3
    1993 52.3
    1995 50.8
    2000 46.5
    2004 39.9
    2007 39.2 (Rutgers 2009)
    2008 37.4 (Rutgers 2009)
2009 36 (UVA 2010; project moved from Rutgers)
2010 32.9 State of our unions data
    2011 31.1 (http://ncfmr.bgsu.edu/pdf/family_pro...file131529.pdf)

For unknown reasons, I did not put the latest figures in this HD file, but ti wasn't up very much even with same-sex marriages.

So the higher-education gender imbalance (in favor of women of course) is a problem ONLY WHEN women can't find enough educated men to marry? It's nice to see that people are realizing young men need support to boost their numbers in universities, but only so women can have suitable partners? What a fucking joke. More like "so women can have enough men to screw over in divorce court"; I mean, poor women, their lives will be so empty without being able to steal half a man's assets and alienate his kids from him. Please think of the poor women!

Mr. E's axiom: With Feminism, it's only ever about women. Feminists don't do shit for men, ever. And if they ever seem to, you can be sure that there is some aspect which benefits *women* first and foremost.

We have always known the answer to that one. It is written into the weave of our enduring human culture.

plus, its just too easy to see thru the thin viel of niceness, to a superior, domineering, overbearing, arrogant, entitled princess, bitch on wheels. I mean am I the only one who sees most women in daily life aren't even civil nevermind respectful or decent to men. They don't treat other women that way, nowadays they just got a, men are shit, bitch on wheels attitude.....feminism taught them so.

There just not someone youd want to have kids, and risk everything for, the temporary nice act is tough to swallow.

Can't live with em, life is great without them.

It's pretty easy to agree with the line "educated men don't want to marry".........we are all getting educated, alright!

just as a side note: I had a bitch on wheels tenant demanding upgrades she wasn't entitled to, so she called building inspection with bogus stuff. usually them guys can catch a play, they are reasonable firm but fair. Nope, female inspector bitch on wheels....dominareering overbearing rude, wouldn't listen to a thing I said, actually talked over me and was insulting. So I asked for her superior......guess what, another female, same same. When your just a man that deserves nothing but unreasonableness punishment and verbal abuse in your work place and from your govt. When there is an army of women, customers, burecrats, politicians and judges banding together looking to throw the rule book out, to punish the evil male. , well, ya start to see the writing on the wall about living and working here, nevermind risking marriage.

we are the "dirty jew" in a feminist socialist matriarchal tyranny........and they want us to marry them! It would be laughable if guys weren't actually clawing at each other for the priviledge.

As a male capitalist in our feminist socialist society, Im like a canary in the coal mine.......things are getting pretty suffocating.....your next.

The writing on the wall is......educated entitled man hating women are taking over the authority positions in our society, and their there for other women. Work life, daily life, for men is going to be just like family court.......for us front liners, it already is.

Unreasonable bitch on wheels, at home, at work, from the govt, everywhere, and men with zero recourse....couldn't be 15 years away.

The days of us complaing about unjust laws and courts, are going to be the good ole days.

Also shows that these women can't even evaluate a male's worth or intelligence, unless he has an externally verified price tag on it. This isn't about the man, most of the smartest guys I know don't have any university education, they are self educated, they've studied plenty but not in a class. This is about men as status objects, and status isn't about intrinsic worth but that which is externally allocated.

These women don't want a man, if they did they'd learn to talk to them and judge themselves whether he's equally smart as them. They want a status package that befits their expectations, to go alongside the car, house, make up set, shoes, kitchen etc.

I'll start worrying if men start complaining they can't find a wife. (But only about the mental state of the men complaining.)
