  • Wing bowl: BBC finds a feminist slant

    I am just going to keep on about the BBC's feminist agenda until they STFU. This time, the target is the Wing Bowl, the Philadelphia eating contest. The journalist Tara Isabella Burton may be one to watch for the future;

    Bear in mind that this piece is supposed to be about a speed-eating contest, and you will see the level of feminist bullshit the BBC is now steeped in.

    Of the 880 words, 220 focus on the poor female victims who are "expected" to flash their tits at the crowd.

    Most of the rest is devoted to adulation of Molly Schuyler, the only female contestant. The male contestants are dismissed as "bestial".

    Incidentally, it's also odd that the BBC doesn't have time to, say, correct the anti-male bias in its "Newsnight" piece about domestic violence, but it still has time to publicise pro-public-breast-feeding demonstrations;

    There's really no other rational response to articles like that, than to ask the author if she's feeling better now?
    Seems like everytime one of them is just having a bad day in general, a new version of 'female oppression' is invented to keep harping on about.
    I wonder how these fragile little flowers even made it this far, in the evolutionary process of weeding out the weaklings.
